Early morning today I was reading an heartwarming article by Mostofa Sarwar Farooki about LIVE FROM DHAKA on Prothomalo. This makes me feel so good that powerful makers of our industry are appreciating Abdullah Mohammad Saad and his debut feature film LIVE FROM DHAKA.
If all the powerful and talented makers come out and stand by the side to LIVE FROM DHAKA in this way then this is not impossible to release this film over Bangladesh. LIVE FROM DHAKA is just releasing in one movie theater. Don’t know why? As far as I can guess in my very young and stupid mind it could be the matter of color; though I am not that smart guy to talk more bout this point.
While I was reading Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s article I was thinking about Amitabh Reza Chowdhury. Then I started to study on his(Amitabh Reza Chowdhury) social media profiles and timelines. Though I found nothing about this film but I am really curious to know what Amitabh Reza Chowdhury is thinking about LIVE FROM DHAKA? What steps he is going to take to promote a good film?
During the releasing period of “Voyankor Sundor” “Bhuban Majhi” “Debi (Misir Ali Prathambar)” and some other new films we noticed Amitabh Reza’s participation in the promotion and campaigns. He encouraged the makers and also tried to help audience to be introduced with different tastes of cinema.
Only two days ahead to open the screen of LIVE FROM DHAKA in Star Cineplex and still we haven’t heard anything from Amitabh Reza Chowdhury about this topic but we can be hopeful that whatever he will do for the shake of this film will be a betterment to the film and obviously to the entire industry.
